Kinda stealing this question from previous poster, but to all of the moms who said they mostly cook during the week. What do you make for dinner?

I am always looking for new ideas of what to cook, and the same thing gets kinda boring every day. Thanks!

  • these are my staples: spaghetti, chicken cordon bleu (I have it reduced to a 30 min meal), tacos, home made pizza, chilli, beef stroganoff, noodles ham and peas dinner, pecan encrusted tilapia which you can buy premade or do yourself, pork loin or spicy shredded pork sandwiches, and my favorite: fend for yourself! I also go this multi-slicer tool so I can cut up veggies and make sweet potato fries or little zuchinni things etc. There are some other casseroles that I love and occasionally dh will pick up a bag of something you just throw in the skillet.

  • I make this outstanding homemade pot-pie at least once every two weeks all fall and winter long. My hubby RAVES about it!! I also love to make roasts/potatoes, shake-n-bake pork chops/mashed potatoes, and hubby loves Ham/twice baked tatoes, and cream cheese corn. He's not really into casseroles, and he's kinda picky so I have to work hard at it sometimes, but it saves a TON of money and it's SO good for kids to sit around the table every nite as a family. We have a blast!! It's where we all reconnect from our long day and relax and enjoy being a family.
