6 mo sleeping on his belly?

Okay, I keep putting my son on his back and every time I go check on him he has rolled over to his belly. Is it okay to leave him on his belly or do I keep rolling him back over?

  • Once they roll over on their own it's fine. You will be up all night repositioning him if you try to keep him on his back. Still put him to bed on his back and then just let him get comfortable. ;-)

  • Back sleeping is just one prevention for SIDS. There are many others just as important that people either don't know about or don't care enough to do like having the baby sleep in your room, breastfeeding, having a fan in the baby's room.
