Boy names...what do you think or what suggestions do you have

Hi ladies. We are blessed to be having our second son in May (YEAH!!!) Except I am already dreaming that our poor son never gets named, because me and hubs can't agree! We have a short list, but none of them do I LOVE...what do you think of our list and what suggestions do you have? We love original but not weird names, and silly me I love names that can't easily be shortened...our son is Julian Daniel.
Short list:
Micah Gabriel
Max Gabriel
Blake Gabriel
Cameron Gabriel
Noah Gabriel

My favorite is Dominic Gabriel, but that was completely vetoed by the hubs!! Maybe I'll beg for it when I'm having a bad contraction....evil me :)

  • From you list I like Micah best, especially with your other son's name.

I'd also suggest Lucas Gabriel, Caleb Gabriel, Thad Gabriel, or Jonah Gabriel.

  • I say no to Micah because where I live it's a girl's name.

My son's name is Noah, so I of course like that choice. My husband and I also prefer names that can't be shortened...we are not fans of nicknames.

Here are other names I like:
    Lucas
    Logan
    Garrett
    Jonah
    Gavin

When you type in Dominic into a baby name wizard, the following suggestions pop up:
    Quinn
    Roman
    Ezra
    Porter
    Evander
    Donovan
    Dexter
    Solomon
    Paxton

  • OH Boys names...they're tough! When My son was born I knew what I wanted his first name to be (Obidiah) but I could not come up with a middle name. I made HUGE lists of boy names and read them to my husband until I found Isacc so that was that and we have a 2.5 year old Obidiah Isacc :-) (he goes by Isacc)
I love the name Dominic we were considering that before finding out I was having a girl last time! I also like Micah. Would you consider using Gabriel as a first name it seems like you really like that name?

  • Julian & Dominic were both names we considered for a boy (we ended up with 3 girls tho', lol). Other names were Alexander, Anthony, Roman (I love this one!), & Vincent. Off of your short list I can't say I absolutely love anything... If I were you I'd definitely beg for Dominic. LOL Your hubby may come around before you have the baby & change his mind anyway. With our last daughter we had a hard time agreeing on a name. I wanted Juliana & he didn't really like it at first, but guess what... our daughter's name is Juliana!! :D Good Luck!
