  • Depends on the dog's full grown size.

Some cockers get big-- like over 40lbs!! The crate should have enough room for the grown dog to turn a full circle without touching the sides. Here is a chart. http://www.petcratesdirect.com/dog-crates-breed-chart.html

  • the crates usually will say on them which breeds they are meant for but i would take the dog with you and put it in some of the crates on display because the dog should be able to stand up, turn around and lay down. Sometimes the crates can be the wrong size even though it says differantly. If you have a puppy you may need to start out with a smaller crate or get one that has dividers in it so that you can adjust it as the pup grows. you don't want the crate to be to big in the beginning because if it is they will go to the bathroom in it.
