How much later after your child was born were you getting medical bills?

DS is 5 months old and I thought I had payed everything. Out of the blue comes a bill for $800! That's after insurance. I try to call, but give up because my minutes will run out before I get a rep. Should I just wait for them to call me?

  • 6 months before my delivery I called up my ins. co. and verify coverage according to them I was cover 100%. When was time to sign the "responsibility form" that my OB presented to me. I print on the document after my signature that "I understand that my insurance cover 100% of the medical care".
