  • Do you want old ones or new ones? we got married 21 years ago and my favorite was "Cherish the Treasure" ...It was way over-done, but its old enough now that nobody probably knows it anymore...Steve Green makes a lot of good ones too.

  • "I will be Here" by Steve Green (I think....)
"We Will Dance" by Steven Curtis Chapman
"Arise My Love" by Michael Card
"The Prayer" Celine Dione and Josh Groban (I thnk)

Steven Curtis Chapman has several really beautiful ones.

  • I love many Steve Green songs. Other ideas are Household of Faith, Seekers of your heart, How Beautiful, Parent's prayer, Imagine me without you, Love is a gift, If you could see what I see (one of my personal favs!)...Good luck! These aren't all Steve Green songs that I listed, but googling him is a good start! And depends if you want more traditional or contemporary music. Green tends to be a little more traditional.

  • I think One Hand, One Heart from West Side Story is beautiful for this, whether sung solo, or played as an instrumental solo on flute, trumpet, or violin (not guitar, cello, awful on an organ.)
Very simple clear melody, short as suits the candle lighting.

Make of our hands one hand,
Make of our hearts one heart,
Make of our vows one last vow:
Only death will part us now.

Make of our lives one life,
    Day after day, one life.

Now it begins, now we start
    One hand, one heart;
Even death won't part us now.

Make of our lives one life,
    Day after day, one life.
Now it begins, now we start
    One hand, one heart,
Even death won't part us now.
