I found the neatest thing at the thrift store! Do you like to shop thrifty? lol
My dd is mildly autistic and not much discipline affects her.
But ONE THING that does is getting a sad face! lol. she HATES it. she always wants a happy face on her chart.
So today I found one of those expensive Melissa and Doug boards that has a calendar on it. It has about 40 or so magnets that have smiley faces, good job, way to go, stars...etc. on them....then it had some blank ones...I drew sad faces on them....
she is SOOOOOO super excited to fill her board up with happy faces and stars!
I gave 2.00 for it and it looks brand new! I am so excited. This will help her in school so much!
What have you found neat in the thrift store in the past?

I love thrift stores! I found my son a tupperware lunch box with two sandwich boxes, a cup and a a drinking glass. He loves it. He was looking for a Bento box, but his school won't allow them because they have characters on them, so this lunch box is just an american version of the Bento box. He loves it. And I only paid $4. I love to go to thrift stores. I found my daughter a school desk there for $2 and my husband a set of left handed golf clubs for $2. I don't buy clothes or dishes but I love looking through the trinkets and stuff!Found an answer to your question?

I have found some cobalt blue glass for my mother. Games and clothes for the kids. I have to admit I really go to increase my collection of little golden books. Books is really what I buy the most of when I am thrift stores.Found an answer to your question?
