Anyone know anything about electric hot water heaters?

Ours keeps shutting off. It will work, and then out of now where the water is cold and the breaker is flipped. Is it the heating element or what?

  • An electrical short, the heating element could have burnt out and is touching something, or a wire could be frayed and touching together, or the breaker could be bad.
