why are there more overweight people then starving people?

  • hmmm , not sure if that's true, but i do know why more americans are fat than fit..... bc junk food/ fattening foods are cheaper than healthy foods and faster too. u know we're all about the convienence

  • because this is america, not a 3rd world country.

    fast pace lifestyle means more convenience foods and fast food which means more fat people.

  • Because our food supply sucks. Also, a lot of people do not know how to cook or to make the right choices in their diets. For someone who is not really akin to buying and using fresh ingredients in their cooking, it's easier to buy a box of Hamburger Helper, some frozen french fries, and a tube of ground beef. It's also horrible that a bag of oreos cost less than a container of fresh watermelon ($5.24 was the container I bought today). Also, there's HFCS in everything. The ingredients in our foods do not help. Plus, people are sedentary for the most part.
