Okay, SUPER weird question about Mirena.

Since the DAY I got it, and yes I mean the DAY, I've felt what feels like baby kicks, I KNOW I'm not pregnant, and it's not gas. What could it be? Does anyone else experience this?

  • I experienced the same thing for quite awhile and I've heard about many others who have felt the same thing. If it worries you talk to your doctor.

  • I didn't experience it until a year and half after I got mine. i dont know why it happens. I suppose its normal, I havnt got sick because of it or anything. I keep forgetting to ask my obgyn about it.

  • it's your uterus contracting mildly around the foreign object you inserted into your body.

  • maybe it's just little spasms in your uterus bc there's a foreign object in there? haven't felt that since i got mine, but i used to feel that all the time between baby #1 and baby #2. used to tell my sister my pretend baby is kicking lol
