small gift

okay for my church lesson I'm suppose to have the kids (5 yr olds) close thier eyes and I'm suppose to put a small gift in thier laps that involves the lesson of how our heavenly father watches over us. I cant think of anything that would be meaningful.
Perhaps you can help me!

  • What about a small toy telescope (like the kind that you find for party favors). That will remind the kids that God can see you close up even when He is far away.

  • A picture of their parents, seeing as how they are the only ones "watching over" them?

  • How about cotton balls in their hands to show how precious and gentle God is with us, how careful he is with us?
