when you have twins, is there 1 or 2 umbilical cords?

  • Each baby gets it's own umbilical cord, so with twins there are two cords.

  • they both have cords but they can share an amniotic sack, and in some rare cases share a placenta which is very dangerous.

  • dear, think about it. do twins have belly buttons? if yes then yes they do ea have their own cord.

  • iF EACH BABY DIDN'T HAVE IT'S OWN CORD ONE WOULD DIE. THAT'S HOW GET NUTRIANTS AD OXYGEN.

  • my twins have there own cords and share the same placenta and im 34weeks and mine are doing really good they are already 5lb and im already 1cm got 3weeks to go doc said
