black bean and rice veggie burgers

I have found some recipes for them, but no one ever uses a food processor, they just mash everything. I think using a food processor would be much easier. Does anyone use one? I'm just worried that if I use one, that they won't bind properly.

  • If you use a food processor you may need to throw in a egg to help bind it.

  • If you use a food processor vs just mashing them, won't they be pulverized? By mashing, they still have chunks, but with a fp, it's going to be a paste...If you really want to know, do half the recipe with the fp and half mashed. But I have a strong feeling the processed ones will be rather gross.
