If you had nothing that you had to be up for, could you sleep for 12 hrs straight?

I'm talking physically. I know there are people who say "I can't sleep past ______." and things like that, so I am curious :)

  • I would say about once a month when I'm over tired and over stressed, I can sleep from 7:00 at night until 7:00 the next morning.

  • No, I am the lightest sleeper. I hate it but only if I take advil pm. I hate taking pills so I just always wake up early or go to bed late. I wish I were a sleepy head. I would feel better.

  • Easily; in fact I could probably sleep longer if the baby was at someone else's house.  I used to do it all the time as a teenager.

  • Not a chance. I"m good after 8 hours. If I was really exhausted I might be able to sleep 10 hours. I can't imagine being in bed for 12 hours, I'd never be able to lay there that long let alone sleep that long.
