What can I use to clean my walls?

My walls are dirty from hand prints and such. What can I use to clean them?

  • It depends on what kind of paint is on the walls. If you don't know you should test anything you use on a place that doesn't matter to make sure it won't take the paint off.

  • What kind of surface is on your walls? Wallpaper or paint? If your paint is flat (or eggshell), be careful using anything like a Magic Eraser.

    Best bet is a mild cleaner (like Murphy's Oil Soap) diluted in warm water and a soft cloth and the hardest part....elbow grease and time.
