  • well right now we are stationed overseas, so really other military spouses are all i've got, but I am still friends with all of my Before Army friends. Its not that I go out of my way to ignore non military, its just that there arent too many non military that speak english!

  • I was a military wife for 3 years. Still kind of am since the saying goes "once a Marine, always a Marine", and there were only three other wives that I actually made friends with. Of course, the were the only people I actually made friends with down there. I didn't like a lot of the military wives because they could be either really bitchy, or they were constantly cheating on their husbands while they were deployed, which disgusted me. Some were nice that I just didn't click with personality-wise, though.

  • plus, other military wives know what we're going through. When my non military friends complain that their husband has to work nights and that they cant sleep without them I tell them to tell it to someone else haha.

  • noway the military couples are constantly unfaithful and there's way too much drama, its like they never grow up.

  • i have military and non military friends. Its not about my husbands job that makes us friends, its about if we like eachother as a person. and FYI anon 305, my husband and I are faithful. Dont make assumptions on something that you clearly know nothing about.
