cool nicknames for grandpa

so my boyfriends parents are very young, 30's cause they had kids in their teens, still happily married. i'm 20, my boyfriend is 19 and we're having our first in july. the grandparents want cool nicknames cause they're too young for "grandma and grandpa". his mom chose Nina for herself which is cool but now we need a cool nickname for his dad...help!!!!! and papa is out of the ?? cause its more for fathers

  • i am fom gibraltar (right by spain) we speak spanish and english and i call mine Gramps or awelo ( which is correctly spelt abuelo which means Granpa )
    My best friend calls hers PA

  • I had a granddaddy. My daughter has a bumpa. That was how she said grandpa, he loved it, and it stuck. All his grandkids now call him bumpa.

  • Nothing wrong with papa. My kids have said bampa, poppa...really, since he's so young anyway, if you thing "papa" is more for a dad why not go that route?
