My store credit card APR is about21%. Is it too much?

  • If you want to carry a credit card and most of us do today, get a Visa or Mastercard. Their interest rates are always lower than store credit cards. I have several and none of them have an interest rate higher than 11.9.

  • I think it's too much. That's one of the problems with store credit cards. I'm glad I don't have any anymore.

  • yes, make sure that you pay it off each time you buy something. Think about it like this : For every 100 dollars you put on that card, you are paying 21 bucks. If you have late fees, or overdraft fees, you are also going to pay interest on those, and you have the chance that the interest rate will go up.As long as you are responsible, it wont be an issue.
