HAIR?

When did you cut your kids hair? Boy or girl? I want to wait until my dd is 5, but she will start school before that, and I want her to be cute, so on her 4th birthday, we are going to get it cut :)

  • my 2 1/2 year old daughter has only had her bangs cut about 4 or 5 times and the rest barely trimmed twice.

My son needed his first hair cut at about 5 months!

  • My daughter's hair is long already so I just had it trimmed after her 1st bday. It's past her shoulders and she isn't even two yet. lol

  • I have two boys so far. My first got a trim at 14 months and the second got his cut at 18 months. Little girls are different though, they can probably go longer before they get their first hair cut.

  • I had twins the first round, one had to have his hair trimmed out of his eyes before he was 3 mos. old.
My daughter got her hair trimmed for the 1st time when she was 6 or 7. I wasn't worried about looking "cute" for the 1st day of Kindergarten. We trimmed several inches off when she decided she didn't like to brush it any longer. Then she cut 11 inches off for Wigs4Kids about 4 years ago. It went from past her shoulders to about ear length. Its now past her shoulders again.
