For those of you in the "Snowpocolypse" zone....or anyone hit hard this winter....

if you assess what you went through, what could you have stocked up on or done differently that would have made your life easier? Is there any of you who were snowbound to the point you could not leave your home?

  • i was snowed in for about a week bc the county had to use frontend loaders to move all that snow (about 30 inches). i ran out of ice melter, but we stocked up on food beforehand. we were fortunate and didn't lose power. maybe bc our lines are underground

  • yes I was snowbound to the point of not being able to leave - thinking baout a snow shovel before the strom forcast would have been smart

  • What else would have made your life more comfortable? Did you lose power?

  • We were never snowbound for more than a day. But more ice melter would've been nice. That could've broken up the skating rink in front of the garage.
