  • Chances are, the mom has depression issues too. I haven't met any strippers that haven't had some reason for thinking that's all that they can do to get money.
I think the dad would get custody if he agreed to receive monthly or biweekly counseling.

  • Most judges lean toward favoring mom. Unless she is proven 'unfit' because of drugs, abuse, or neglect.

  • I hate to say it, but it will be the stripper mom, more than likely. Judges really try to keep the children with their mother, UNLESS drugs or prostitution is envolved...then the Dad.

But it also depends on what sort of work the Dad does. If he is a well-paid account executive, and lives in a nice suburban kid-friendly neighborhood, then he may be more likely.

The judge makes the decision on what it BEST for the CHILD, and there is an attorney appointed for that child who meets with the parents, reviews the information, and makes his/her decision, and thats normally what the judge will do with. But it really depends on a case-to-case basis, as well as any criminal background information.

  • stripping is a real job. but its not right of her if she is married and disrespecting her husband in continueing to strip. sounds like they have much bigger and longer term issues if she is doing this

  • Most judges will not fault a mom for taking gainful employment to support her child. Stripper mom.
