  • 6...but I never let my son have anything with caffeine in it. Usually a sprite or root beer

  • probably around 6. My 10 and 12 year olds do not like any type of soft drink. My 8 year old does, but she only gets a sierra mist on VERY rare occasions. I don't believe in never letting a child have a food item - it only makes them want it more, all things in moderation.

  • My sons were teenagers before they had soda for the 1st time and it wasn't here. They had it at friends homes, school functions, etc.. My sons are 23, 22, 19 and 18 and I have NEVER bought soda for them.

  • I have dd some 7-Up when she was 8 and had a belly ache. My 4 year old ds has not had any yet. They know they can have soda when they're older, but not while they're still growing. Neither of them seem to care.
