  • At 8 mos. old, keep rocking her. They grow up so fast!

  • I think when it gets to the 2 year mark....or just whenever you get tired of rocking her to sleep. My daughter is 20 months old, and I'd say in the last month we've eased back quite a bit.

  • If the LO is too big to fit on your lap. Most will stop on their own before that. :) 8 months is still snuggly age.

  • I still snuggle my son at 4 years old(though I can't carry him! FIFTY FOUR LBS AND 49 inches tall!!!). He fits on my lap, and if he needs cuddles and to be rocked for a little while, I'm happy to oblige. He's muh baby! I cuddled my dd on my lap up until she was just too tall to fit!

  • Mine still want to be held when they are sick or just feeling needy. Sometimes I rock my almost 3 year old to sleep. He loves to climb on my lap and snuggle. He's going to be too big before I know it.
