my daughter hasnt eaten since 8pm last night, she wont eat, she is screaming all day, since 4 this morning

what can I do to help her teething
She has not eaten since 8.....
I give her tylenol sparingly but enough, i took away the orajel cuz im scared its hurting and it didnt seem to help, teething rings do nothing, cold carrots only work for a few minutes, hylands isnt doing crap... im frustrated and worried for her. I'm crying.

  • How old is she? Is she drinking? When you say she's not eating, do you mean not eating solids, or not nursing/taking bottles?

  • if she isnt nursing or taking bottles then id call the doctor. if she just isnt eating solids then dont worry about it. are you sure it is just teeth? check for fever. if no fever and she keeps crying maybe go to doctor anyway to make sure it isnt an ear ifection or something else. if youre sure it is just teeth... try giving her a cool, damp washcloth to hold and chew on. i heard sometimes teething is itchy. and terry cloth can help. good luck.

  • Ok, she needs to be drinking, whether it be by breast, bottle, or sippy cup. At 6 months old, have you tried introducing the sippy cup? The change might be exciting to her, and maybe she'll take it. Don't worry about the solids right now. She'll be ok without them until she wants to take them again. BUT, if she's refusing breast/formula, you really should at least call the doctor. Or find a new one.
