Is there anything i can do to help her from spitting up soo much...

Me and My soon to be husband's baby girl is almost 5 months old.. now that shes older and is able to sit up in a highchair to eat cereal.. she is Eating cereal w/ a 4 oz bottle in the mornings and at night.. and in between the morning and night cereal feeding were giving her a 6oz bottle.. and when we give her the 6oz bottle were tryiog to burp her half way through.. but the thing about it she HATES burping all she will do is scream and wont burp.. and we cant stand to hear her scream like that.. and if she doesnt burp she ends up spitting up ALOT of what she eats.. i MEAN ALOT! what can i do to help her from spitting up soo much if she doesnt burp??? PLEASE HELP WITH ANY ADVICE YOU GUYS HAVE!!!:) thank you so much!!

  • I think that if she's healthy, happy, and not losing weight, spit up is just a laundry issue.

  • The cereal could be giving her upset stomach and gas. It's hard to digest. If you stop the cereal and give her regular table food the problem will likely resolve itself. (sometimes babies are just not ready to digest solid foods at that age and it is okay to wait a while and try table food at a later time -- you never need to give jarred food by the way).
