What does your child/toddler drink? How old are they?

This is a bit of a spin off from the Coke question... Mostly just because I'm curious what other mom's allow their children to drink.

  • 15 month old - 16 oz of whole milk and then water. My 8 and 10 year old both drink water with breakfast, my 8 year old drinks strawberry milk at school, 10 year old drinks water for lunch, and then they usually have a cup of juice with supper. My 12 year old drinks a cup of skim milk at each meal, water in between.

  • My daughter is 14 months old. She drinks mostly whole milk right now. If she's not drinking milk she's drinking water or diluted juice, but she only gets juice like once a day, if even that. She's weird about drinking water, but if she's thirsty she'll drink it.

  • of course there's always exceptions ... sprite once at a birthday party, hot cocoa w/ marshmallows on the polar express, lemonade at the state fair. never ever soda or kool ade things though.... once you give a kid those things it's sooooo hard to go back. my kids palates now are so used to only naturally sweet things (like strawberries, grapes) that processed sugar things actually taste gross to them and they can only handle them in small doses before they are revolted by it.

  • My daughter is 2.5 yrs and my son is 8 months old. My daughter drinks mostly water. She also drinks milk, and juice, but hardly ever juice. She definitely doesn't drink soda all day...but occasionally, I'll let her have a little bit of soda as long as its caffiene free...but we don't ever have soda in the house unless for like a special event so...and my son drinks formula lol and occasionally water....but he will drink the same as his sister drinks.
