Breastfeeding momma's

Do you cover up when you feed in public? Why? Self comfort or common Curtice? I did for both reason.s I didn't wanna show off my Ta-Ta's and I know people didn't wanna see them any way!

  • It depends. If it's somewhere where there aren't a lot of people or I can kind of go off alone or something like that, then I won't always use my cover. Although I don't have my boobs hanging out while I'm nursing either. I've gotten pretty good about keeping covered with my shirt. And I wear nursing tanks, so my belly isn't hanging out either. Also, if I'm with the LLL ladies then I don't use the cover, either, since I'm with a bunch of other women.

  • Both reasons. The longer I breastfeed the better I am getting at staying covered with just my shirt. It is SO much easier than having to cover them up with a blanket. But, I do stay covered for my own modesty (don't want people looking), for my husband (who doesn't want others looking either), and common courtesy.

  • I have never put a cover over me or my son. I don't cover up especially. My breastfeeding is pretty discreet - I have tops from boobdesign.com that I got on ebay for real cheap :) They are awesome because it means I stay warm during winter!

  • I don't cover up because I don't care if people see. I did starting out because I wasn't confident about nursing but once I was I didn't care. I was more concerned about my son. I am from UK though so maybe its much easier over here. My family are supportive as well.
