  • He doesn't forgive sins that are not genuinely repented or a life lived willfully unfaithful to him.
1 Samuel 16:7) But Jehovah said to Samuel: “Do not look at his appearance and at the height of his stature, for I have rejected him. For not the way man sees [is the way God sees], because mere man sees what appears to the eyes; but as for Jehovah, he sees what the heart is.”

  • After reading this question you really made me think and I really can't answer because I am still trying to find answers myself. But as the PP said God sees things differently he knows what is true in your heart. So maybe it is what he saw not to be honestly asking forgiveness for?.

  • Judgments are for those who are left in the world, bowl judgements, trumps, etc. Those who are saved will be rewarded with crowns for the work they did while on Earth to further His kingdom and will rule and reign with Jesus in the Millennium.

  • Ahhhh, great question. If everyones in heaven why does one need a judgement? Why would Jesus need to ressurect people if they are already in heaven? Its because we will ressurrected and judged to live on earth under one Kigdom just like the original plan. Matt 6:10 - The Lord's prayer: Your Kingdom come, your will be done, on earth also in heaven.

  • awesome question...i personally do not believe that God will punish us at all...He is merciful and pure love, so why would he need to judge us? He made us is HIS image, correct, so then basically He would be judging Himself

  • He forgives us our sins if we repent of them... if we sin, ask forgiveness, but keep doing it, how can he forgive it? He will judge us for what we haven't repented of and of sins we didn't ask forgiveness of, etc. Just because we have black marks on our "list" doesn't mean we won't get into heaven. It is the STATE of our heart that will matter. There are certain sins that God will not overlook (blasphemy, homosexuality, adultery, etc) assuming the person lived continually in that way, knowing it was wrong or refusing to believe that it was wrong.
