Need help with belly fat when I am a type 2 diabetic!

I usually eat good balanced meals and work out six days a week. I have asked trainers, doctors, and diabetic educators this question. How do I get my belly fat lower or mostly gone replaced with a good abdominal belly?
Thus far no responses even from the educated knowledgeable ones. Ugh! Help please!
