my 4 yr old has them and i have a 19 month old... how do i keep it from spreading. ive already had them but could i get them again? and any tips on how to help her not scratch?

You can not get them again. Once you have them you are immune to them. Bath in baking soda. Calamine lotion. There is nothing you can do from it spreading. It is different for everyone. They do have to stay home untill the last poc is crusted over. Which is usually two weeks.
