my 4 yr old has them and i have a 19 month old... how do i keep it from spreading. ive already had them but could i get them again? and any tips on how to help her not scratch?

  • My kids are not vaccinated for pox and I would LOVE to get them for them!!! pox is not that big of a deal for most. You likely won't get them, but may get shingles or even a mild case. As for the itching calamine, oatmeal baths baking soda baths etc. and if the 19 month old does get them try putting socks on her hands to stop her.

  • You can not get them again. Once you have them you are immune to them. Bath in baking soda. Calamine lotion. There is nothing you can do from it spreading. It is different for everyone. They do have to stay home untill the last poc is crusted over. Which is usually two weeks.

  • If you had a mild case you can get them again. Oatmeal bath is also great.
