Leaked documents reveal GOP plan to use scare tactics to raise money...what's new?

"The memo tracks the fundraising presentation that RNC Finance Director Rob Bickhart delivered to the RNC's $2,500-a-head annual retreat. The best path to victory in 2010, the document advises, is for Republican candidates to depict themselves as the best hope for resisting the "trending toward socialism" taking shape in a Democrat-dominated Washington..."

  • It would be nice to see a vision for the future instead of negative and stupid scare tactics.. When politicians are reudced to this level of campaigning, it is proof positive they are not worth electing.

  • (Updated 3 p.m.) Posted 11:45 a.m. Wed., 03.03.10 - The White House announced this afternoon that President Barack Obama (left) will be mixing policy with politics while he is in town next week. The president is slated to deliver a speech here Wednesday on health care, although no further details were given on the time or the place. (He also is to make a health care address next week in Philadelphia.) Presumably, his address here will be prior to his appearance at Wednesday evening's U.S. Senate fund-raising event at the downtown Renaissance Grand hotel, where organizers say hundreds of tickets are being sold at every price level -- from $25 to $50,000.
