Would you become a friend to a new member?

I keep getting invites from people telling me we have stuff in common. We so don't. I am an older mother with teens they have babies. I been married 25 years they 6. I have like a hundred forty six friends. They have none and are new here. So my question is should I friend them just because they ask or not? We really have nothing in common. I do go look at their pages and there is nada! So what would you do?

  • if people dont have the decency to tell me why we should be friends, i dont accept them. i hate the auto "we have stuff in common" friend request. so i dont accept those people.

  • I guess I pretty much accept anyone. I guess it doesn't make any difference to me, because I don't really have anything personal on my homepage, and I almost never chat. All my activity is in groups and questions, so I really don't know for the most part who my friends are. Hmmm.... that sounds bad. There are a few I've gotten to know pretty well!
