IF the Christian God is so against Homosexuality, why is it that Jesus never mentioned it?

At no point in the new testament (or in any known Apocrypha) does Jesus address Homosexuality or Homosexual acts.

And the OT has references to homosexuality in both the negative and the positive... And even if it DID refer to homosexual acts as against the Law of the OT, it would not apply to Christians today any more than the other 612 laws that make up the Jewish Holiness Code do...

SO... IF this is something that is SOOO Hated by God as we keep hearing, why is it that Jesus never brought it up? You would think that he would want people to make sure this wasn't something they were doing...

  • Oh where oh where are the Paulinians at? I mean Jesus NEVER said anything but the haters insist on using Pauls words over Jesus, so I guess they are Paulinians huh?

  • I figure... But if any one of them can find me a place where Jesus states Homosexuality is a sin - or even talks about it... They would be worthy of giving today's top Biblical Scholars and most likely the Pope a bible study. Cause, guess what, it's not there...

  • Why do you care? If you are a practicing Christian, the question would already be answered for you. God said it was wrong. If you don't believe, that's your business.

  • God didn't throw out the old testament. If Christians weren't supposed to refer to the old testament then it wouldn't be attached to the new one. God says in the old testament woman shal not lie down with woman and man with man. If Jesuse was the son of God then technically He did say it was wrong. Why can it only be old testament? Also I do believe there is something relating to it in Revelation. But I would do your homework before you call out other religions. We aren't all going to believe the same things, why can't some people just accept it and leave it alone? What do you believe? Lets tear that apart.

  • If you read what Paul wrote, it was sent from Christ, he was just the body doing the writing. Actually read the apostles.

  • its the only part in the old testament that they choose to follow...how bout the part where it says that a woman is full of sin after she gives birth...do they honor that...its in the same book of the bible.....they just choose to discriminate because they need to fulfill their humanly urge to talk down to ppl...and the fact that it's in the part of the bible that jesus came to abolish is the reason they use to justify their ignorance
