Does this list sound atleast slightly healthy?

My shopping list for this week:
-pork chops
-baby carrots
-dannon danactive yogurt
-dry roasted peanuts
-crunchy all natural peanut butter
-birdseye steam fresh veggies
-whole grain english muffins
-Kashi cereal
-Rye bread
-"skinny" water
-kettel cooked potato chips
-wheat thins
-ranch dressing

  • Yep sure does. I would get a different dressing though. Ranch is LOADED with calories. They make this yogurt dressing. See if you can find that. It taste really awesome.

  • this is not bad if you are just getting started with healthy choices!
    be sure to read your ingredients, and if you don't know what something is you can look it up on wikipedia. our first goal as a healthier family was to add veggies and cut chemicals. if you can't pronounce an ingredient, it probably is not good for you!

  • yes, except the ranch, chips, and read the label for the peanuts. Of course, if you eat very small quantities of these, you won't feel like you're starving yourself.

  • Sounds good to me! Just go for well-rounded meals, don't use too much oil or butter when cooking, and keep your serving sizes from being too large. : )
