You do have to leave a credit card on their file, but I think if you cancel before the trial it is free.

  • They say a man should always dress for the job he wants, so why am I dressed up like a pirate in this restuarant, it's all because some hacker stole my identity, no I'm in here every evening serving chowder and iced tea, shoulda gone to free credit report dot com, i should've seen it comin at me like an atom bomb, they monitor your credit, and send email alerts, so you dont end up selling fish to tourists in t-shirts =)

  • NOT freecredit -- you are entititeled by LAW to one free credit report per agency per year. is I believe the official govt. site.

DO NOT give your CC to anyone for this service. It is FREE by LAW!!!!!
besides, I've heard alot of issues with

although I agree about the commercials --

  • Here is the site I use to get a free credit report for me and my husband. They don't show your credit score but they do give you the report without asking for a credit card.

    Hope this helps :)
