Is there any funding to help pay for Vet Bills?

MY 9 m old puppy was diagnosed with PARVO tues night. He stayed over night at the Animal Urgent care and is now at the Local animal hospital. Our local humane Society cureently has no funds to help me. But they told me to try on the Federal level. I can't find the # anywhere. My furbabies bill is really close to $1000 and is climbing any help I could get would be great my SO was laid off yesterday so it just my income for a 4 person house. I can't let him die! he is as important to me as my own flesh!

  • I hope it helps! Have you talked to the vet about doing a payment plan? a lot of vets will work with you, in this type of situation.

  • That sucks! I am sorry. I hope that one of these can help you. I think one of them is a fund raiser site and if not know that one of the sites has a link to it. That might be another option for you as well.

  • Care Credit is through GE Money bank You can google it to find the link. They offer a credit card that is used for just medical expenses $300 and up. You chose the plan 0% for 3,6,9, 12 months as long as you pay the minimum each month and the balance by the end of the promotional period. You have to chose from a list of providers on their website. It is not only for vets but dental, plastic surgery, orthodontics, and other services too. I use it all the time for my dental bills.

  • As of Today I am having NO LUCK AT ALL!!! My credit isn't good enough thanks to things that where supposed to be paid off by my ex and I didn't know until now they weren't. MY SO doesn't have enough history for anyone to aprrove him and because my dog was released to me no other lace wants to help. I THINK I"M ROYALLY SCREWED.
