  • Cramping associated w/ heavy bleeding or bleeding that last more than 1 day. However, you can have light bleeding and not miscarry

  • Is the bleeding brown, or is it bright red/pink? Brown spotting at 3-4 weeks can be completely normal and happens in a lot of pregnancies without any problems. Red bleeding, especially if it lasts very long, coupled with cramping, is a bit more troublesome.
