  • NO they are definetly not the same! if you do decide to switch don't do it very suddenly you kind of have to ease into it- 1 scoop old 1 scoop new and do that for a few days and then try 2 scoops new.

  • They are generally the same. But it is like any other manufactured product you buy. Sometimes the generic is indistinguishable, sometimes the texture or taste is way off. Because they are made slightly different what may look identical might cause more gas, or smell way worse coming out, or cause constipation, etc. It depends. The main formulas that are different are the espensive ones that are made specifically to be more easily digested and cause less gas and spit up than normal. Why all formula isn't made to be "more easily digested" is beyond me and is rather sickening. All formula should be held to that same standard.

  • i switch my baby from similac to good start and she was fine but i did the gradual thing with her. she loves her good start formula. similac was a little more convient for traveling but that was awhile ago. now she is older and eats food so less formula to travel with. good luck.

  • They're much of a muchness...but...the differences tend to be SUBJECTIVE. Slight differences in taste can cause a baby to reject the new formula.
