  • there really is no need for a prenatal vitamin, as long as you take a multi vitamin....i take childrens gummy multi vitamins cause they have the same ingredients as prenatals....my doc even said a lot of women take flinstones instead of prenatals for that very reason...they taste a lot better too....they make me want to take them haha

  • I would definitely check the INGREDIENTS of any vitamins you are taking. Certain OTC ones (probably prescribed also, but I'm not sure) have additives and fillers that are not needed. Your best bet is to find a good whole food multi or prenatal vitamin (New Chapter is a good brand).

  • Prenatal Vitamins which are prescribed generally are products that are just being introduced in the market.
