  • Yeha, I don't think I would feed them. I really doubt they will die from not eating one night. How weird he brought live catfish. Did he bring them so you could eat them?

  • catfish are bottom feeders they'll eat pretty much anything. Get some fish pond pellets or dry catfood.

  • Yeah he brought them for us to eat... They're still alive... I gave them regular fish food. I have fish in a small pond outside and just used their food. The smaller of the two was coming to the surface of the tub and eating it. Im glad they didn't die they hadn't been in water for ATLEAST a good hour. Poor things! I'm taking them to the lake when the baby wakes up haha! thanks ladies. Oh btw the fish wouldnt fit in our small pond... theyre pretty big fish

  • don't put them in your pond, lol. They'll eat anything they can fit in their mouths.
We have a pond out back that we stock with fish too, and even though they do eat smaller fish, they will eat dry dogfood too, which is what we feed them.
