why is'nt there mouse-flavored cat food?

they've got salmon, why not mouse? hundreds of choices and not one of the mouse. "fancy feast" would make a killin off this idea, ya know.

  • well someone would have to eat a mouse to know exactly what flavor it is. I don't think many would actually volunteer for that job.

  • Mice carry disease. I don't think they'd want to invite that into homes.

  • I was just saying this the other day! Mice would be rather cheap to raise for food and there's suppose to be perfect nutrition for your cat,so why not?

  • I'm betting that it isn't the flavor of the mouse that cats like, but the fact that they are small and run around that makes them more of a game for the cats. Years ago we had some field mice that got into our house during a blizzard and my cat played with them to death, but he never ate them.
