  • drives me up the WALL!

there was a preschool mom talking about her 38month old....it took me a minute. oh he's 3!!!!

I used the month terms up until about a year and a half. then went to almost 2, 2, 2 1/2 and up...

  • usually i use their age in years. But not always. like when someone asks me at what age DS2 was toilet learned i always say 27 months. But when he was that age, and someone asked me how old he was i always just said 2.

  • Well.. under two is understandable to use months because a child can be one.. but being 12 months and 18 months is completely different for most children..

  • as soon as mine turned one I stopped using months and started using years. I don't like having to calculate months into years when I can't think properly at that moment.

  • I stopped at two, just because of all the developing a child does in the first two years. Because theres actually is a difference between a kid thats 14 months or a kid thats 16 months.. They change so much. Now I say she's two and a half, and when shes a bit closer to 3 I'll say she'll be 3 in August.
