There are so many people out there who are mentally ill and unstable. In the 50's we locked them up in institutions. In the 60's we let them all go because it was inhumane. Now we have a problem because so many people who need medications don't take them. I think we need to go to a system where people who prove they can stay on their meds can live at home. Others who go on and off must be in a group home where they can be supervised. It's not fair to anyone to just ignore the situation and then when something goes wrong just hang ours heads and say "oh well, they were mentally ill"
