pain ???

ok so i gave birth a few months ago and they gave oxycodone for pain and here lately i have been having a horrible toothache but still breastfeed and wanting to know if i can take one of these pills? it hurts and i need something? just wanting to know if any one knows by any chance? thank you

  • i would call a pharmacist to find out about how much it can cross in to breast milk and for hold long

  • Do not take any medications without the advise of your pediatritian. Everything you ingest goes right through your breast milk. I would be very cautious.

  • If your tooth hurts bad enough to take something as strong as oxycodone, you need to see a dentist right away. Otherwise, take ibuprofen.

  • Ibuprofen and Hylands's teething tabs. You may need an antibiotic....

  • my son was huge and i was in a lot of pain after having him, i was given 2 months worth of oxycodone, they knew i was breastfeeding, and they said it was fine, if it wasn't, they wouldn't give it to women that have just given birth.
