  • its a stage. i would suggest ignoring them. obvsiously remain aware and that the child is safe. but otherwise dont feed in to the trantrum, ignore it

  • Ignore him. Its about the attention. Keep your eye of him of course, but after getting no response from you he'll eventually give up.

  • Ignore it. It works the best.

  • Take him to his room, get down on his level and tell him that you know he's upset and he can have a fit if he needs to but he has to do it in his own room. Tell him that he can come back in with you when he's done or calmed down. Then walk out. If he comes out still having his fit, just repeat the process. If he comes out and is calm, give him hugs and kisses and tell him how glad you are that he is feeling better or that he waited until he was done to come back and then go on about your day. that is what we did with our oldest and it worked like a charm. He even got to the point that he would go back there on his own when he felt a fit coming on. Just remember that fits are his way of expressing frustration, anger, or even just hurt feelings. Also, be calm in your approach to it. they don't have the same coping mechanisms that adults supposedly have. good luck. (=
