Anyone know much about Testosterone Injections for Women?

Doing research, it's a questionable treatment in women to increase sex drive, decrease depression, weight gain, etc... Anyone know much about it?

  • Testosterone injections can cause hair growth on any place, change in vocal pattern, change in sleep pattern, change in muscle tone, loss of fertility, change in mammary tissue, loss of menstrual cycle, change in clitoral size, vaginal dryness, vaginal swelling--- you can take enough testosterone to grow a beard and look like a man. People do it all the time. Every person will respond differently to a dose. One dose could help you lose weight and ramp up your sex drive OR you could have a billy goat chin and feel terrible.

    Too risky in my book.

  • testosterone injections are used for treatment of an under active thyroid. It may have the other side effects you mentioned but i know that thyroid treatment is what testosterone is used for in women
