Positive story on foster/adoption-Focus on the Family Adoption Initiative

Can churches help in giving foster care children (who are already available for adoption) permanent homes? Apparently so in Colorado. I wonder about other states and if this will become nation-wide?

  • I would love to see not just church groups but other organizations join in as well. There are so many children that get that label of being "unadoptable" just because they're 11 or older or sibling groups, etc. There are homes there for all of them if people would just open their hearts & homes to them. Sure some of these children have problems but who wouldn't with all the abuse they go thru and then shuffled around within the system and no place to call home.
