  • I don't have a girl,but I most certainly wouldn't let her.I wouldn't even let a teen wear them!

  • how is it any different from wearing tights or leggings?

IMO, anyone who sees that as inappropriate is having inappropriate thoughts about the child. There are some things that ARE inappropriate, like hoochie shorts- their express purpose being to evoke a sexual response. Skinny jeans are jeans... they are en vogue.

Would you put tights or leggings on a little girl? they are much more revealing.

  • I let my son wear them at 10, so, I would let my daughter as well. No need to discriminate.

  • I do not love them, but it is getting hard to find jeans that are not skinny. My 12 year old SD wears them and they look cute on her but she is a converse and hoodie kind of girl too. Apparently teens are wearing their clothes skin tight again - kind of like I did in the 80's!

  • Yes, my 9 year old does and so does my 6 year old. No big deal. Boys NOWAY! I don't like to see boys in skinny jeans.

  • I do not think there is anything wrong with them. Well personally I feel they are ugly but if my daughter wants to wear them ok. At least it isn't daisy dukes.

  • I have a problem with them because I see alot of middle school girls pass my house wearing them, and they DO NOT look their age and wearing them sends a signal to older guys that they are older(and not a child) and willing and able lol! I'd want my child to look like a child for as long as possible. Just because its the style does not mean you have to buy them.

  • boys and girls are wearing skinny jeans now. thats what is in. and i think they are fine. now if your overweight and wearing skinny jeans with a giant muffin top... then that is inappropriate. skinny jeans are certainly not for evey body type. but every age? yes.
