If your morning starts off really crappy...

i.e. Cat puking on the bedspread, dirty diaper blow out, spilt coffee..is that an indication of how the rest of the day may go?

(this all happend to me before 6:45 am, the day has not improved much..)

  • It can mean your day is going to be really shitty unless you change your way of thinking...breathe and relax! Hope you have a better day!

  • When that happens, do the simplest of yoga stretches. With your feet shoulder length apart, slowly bring your arms up as you breathe in and then slowly bring them back down as you exhale. Do this three times. On the third time, as you exhale, slowly bend over, trying to imagine each indvidual vertabrae flexing to bend you over. When you come to the floor, touch it with your palms as flat as you can. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth slowly, 3 times. On the fourth inhale, imagine each vertabrae slowly bringing you back to your feet. When you are standing up, think of ten things that you are thankful for and purpose in your heart and mind to have a better day. *hugs you tight*
Hope ya aren't skurred of rodents!

  • in my perfect wonderful magical world, i would have hopped back into bed and pulled the covers up real tight and waited for tomorrow but of course we don't get that luxury. We get to keep on keeping on cause that's what mommas do!!
