What would you have done with this egg?

While cooking eggs and as you break afew more then you notice one of them has alittle blood in the yolk...yuk!

Do you try to scoop it out and throw it away?

Or do you just mix it in with the rest and cook it?

This happened to me and it grossed me out I scooped it out and

  • That's why you're supposed to crack eggs one at a time into a seperate bowl before adding them to the rest of the ingredients. I used to crack them right into the rest too, til I had the same issue - with my kid's birthday cake! I did the scoop & dump because I didn't have any more cake ingredients. But now I crack each egg seperately in a small bowl before adding them!

  • If it's going in a cake, who cares? If it were going to be poached or served plain in some way then I'd give it to the dogs.

  • I cook up the ruined batch and feed it to my cat! She loves eggs and it makes her coat so shiny and healthy!
